What is your role at CleanArc?

As the Director of Program Management at CleanArc, my focus is on overseeing a program meticulously crafted to ensure the successful delivery of scalable data centers that align with market demands. This entails comprehensive planning, coordination, and collaboration with delivery market leaders to not only meet project timelines and budget constraints but also to stay attuned to the evolving technical needs of the market and supply chain.

I’m responsible for navigating the intricacies of large-scale data center delivery, ensuring that CleanArc is positioned as a leader in offering scalable and customer-aligned solutions within the dynamic landscape of digital infrastructure. This entails translating the technical intricacies of data center delivery – the “nuts and bolts” – into our strategic business operations, enabling CleanArc to meet both the present and future requirements of our customer base and the industry.

What do you find most inspiring or motivating about working at CleanArc?

I find the entrepreneurial culture that permeates the organization inspiring at CleanArc. Our culture fosters a dynamic and innovative environment, encouraging the team to think outside the box and pursue differentiating concepts. When did you begin to home in on data center development as the career path you were interested in pursuing long-term?

Before CleanArc, my exposure to data centers was rooted in the engineering consulting world. Over the past decade and more, I’ve garnered firsthand experience, witnessing the evolution from the initial concepts of enterprise data centers, progressing through collocation, and observing the emergence of hyperscale data centers. My enduring curiosity for the unknown has consistently driven me, and at the core of my engineering-centric background, I’ve always harbored a passion for technology.

From my perspective, the data center symbolizes the perfect convergence of the new capabilities being developed in the digital world and the intricate workings of the physical world. Working with data centers felt like a natural progression, seamlessly aligning with my passion for technology and its dynamic interaction with our day-to-day lives.

Any advice for those interested in working in data centers?

Now more than ever it is imperative to stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies. The field of data centers is constantly evolving, with advancements in areas like cloud computing, edge computing, and automation.
